From reina sofia airport to laguna park II in tenerife!!help?

it says its approx 12miles, are we better off just getting a taxi when we get there, or booking one before but ive never done this, do they hold up a sign with your name on or something?what if the flight is delayed etc..how much would it be in a taxi if we just got in 1 when we arrived at reina sofia airport?
