Is this normal???

Like seriously I am starting to find that I can't even talk to my parents normally anymore. I am 13 and going to boarding school in 1 and 1/2 weeks.......I am really excited (so I don't have to 'deal' with my parents.......) is this normal, like I know that us teenagers find our parents really annoying growing up but I can neva even talk to them! Is this normal? Also every time we talk it results in an argument of some description I just want things to b normal......
