Stratocaster wiring help?

Ok, so I was experimenting with my strat and one of the wires broke off. It's still attached to the metal springs in the back of the guitar underneath the plate. It goes through a hole which leads to the front of the guitar that attaches to something which I don't know. Please help, thank you! Also, be specific where it attaches to.
