Is it normal for a newborn to act so hungry?

my son will b 2 weeks tomorrow. after feedings he is still hungry even after 4oz. sometimes he'll take the paci but if he doesn't want it he will keep crying and looking for something to suck on. i try talking, singing, showing him objects, walking around with him, swinging movements, his bouncer, and his swing. but he acts like its the end of the world. my first son wasn't like this movement would shut him up. thankfully i haven't gotten stressed out over this yet but time will tell. any advice??
