Flat black or shiny blk? help! help third gen iroc-z and z28 owners!?

hi i have a 87 iroc-z camaro tht was sittin in my driveway in sun and all tht but i just got her running after 1500 dollars and i waxed her a month ago and i was going wax again ( paint was in bad shape ALOT better now ) but the t-top weather striping and the hood louvers are pretty faded and i was going paint them and i was just going do the weatherstriping but i rlly wanna do the hood louvers but im not going chance doing it when they are on the car so can i remove the hood louvers? do they screw off? and what should i do flt black or high gloss blk? and im only 12 and iv never painted anything so can u give me any tips how long should i wait between primer and paint and washing? how many coats of blk should i use? give me all the tips u can THX! also what size of paint/primer cans should i get and where? shucks? and also im was thinking the flt black because i have a new lebra front cover mask on the camaro ( dent in the hood and it covers it up ) and the cover acorse is not so glossy but again thx!
