My horse wont canter anymore! he goes straight to a gallop. HELPP.?

when you ask him to canter, really try to sit deep i your seat to slow him down, dont use your reins. reallu push your heels down and push hard in your seat bone against the saddle, he should be able to feel this pressure and slow down a little. if you have too, only use a little rein.
