Can anyone help me with Visual Basic?

Okay so I'm a beginner to Visual Basic, I just downloaded Visual Basic 2010 Express and I am trying to make it so when you click a on, it sets a label to HI and then after 5 seconds, it changes the label to WAITED. I know how to set the labels, but I can't seem to figure out the sleep command. If anyone can help me, I will be SO grateful - best answer will be given to the first person who makes it work. You may need to write the code for me, i r dum :P
