Where can I get a Sugar Glider? Please help!?

I live in Santa Cruz California and have wanted a sugar glider for over 7yrs. I now have a nice place to have one but it's really hard to find one as they are illegal in California. I'd be the best mom ever to my little sugar glider baby. Please don't respond to this with telling me they are illegal because I know that. Where and how can I get a sugar glider? Please help.
